If possible, please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time. This allows time to use the restroom, discuss your goals for the session, and get comfortable on the massage table. If you are late for an appointment, I will do my best to provide the full time but cannot guarantee anything beyond your scheduled block.
Please arrive AT MOST 10 minutes early for your appointment. That will allow time for the prior client to exit with privacy and for the room to be reset.
For mobile massage, I will arrive 10-15 minutes early to set up and discuss treatment for that day.

All cancellations and rescheduling can be managed through Vagaro. Please reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before the beginning of your appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment time will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the price of the scheduled service. If I am able to fill your original appointment time with another client, the cancellation fee will be waived.
No-shows and cancellations within 2 hours of service time will be charged 100% of the price of the scheduled service.

That is mostly up to you! Outside of checking in on occasion, I will follow your lead. I generally encourage clients to focus their attention on the body during the session, but don’t feel as if you need to stay silent if you don’t want to.

Absolutely not! The most important part of receiving bodywork is that you're comfortable. You will be covered with a blanket and sheet for warmth and modesty. Some clients choose to undress fully for their sessions, some wear underwear, and others wear shorts. Some modalities may be limited by clothing, but I am flexible and can work around just about anything.
Regardless of your choice, Washington state law requires appropriate draping at all times. Regardless of gender, breast tissue and genitals are to remain covered- no exceptions.

There is no expectation on my end to receive a tip. As a solo practice, all of my costs are factored in to the price of your session. If you are blown away by the treatment and feel like tipping there is an opportunity at the time of payment to do so.
However, when visiting other practices with employees I encourage you tip your therapist. Tips can be a vital part of their livelihood!

Massage therapy, in particular deep tissue and trigger point, may cause some soreness 1-2 days after treatment. It may feel similar to the effect of a good workout. Proper hydration before and after often lessens these effects.

It depends on each person’s body and circumstances. Once a month is most typical but that may not be possible for a lot of people. We can discuss frequency and alternative solutions before, during, or after your session.
